Frequently Asked Question & Reservations
Where do the expeditions take place?
Expeditions take place in the hills and mountains of the Ouachita Mountains in Western Arkansas, on public and/or private lands. Most of our expeditions will take place on private, secluded lands.
What is the fee to attend? The fee to attend one of our public expeditions is $260 per person. This covers all expedition planning and organizing efforts, any necessary permits, food (breakfast and dinner), misc. expenses, and the cost to replace any equipment that may be damaged while in the field.
$275- includes breakfast and dinner, wood for campfires. You bring all your own camping gear, lunches, and snacks.
What is the minimum age to attend?
The minimum age is 18 years.
What do I need to bring?
It will be just like any other camping trip. A tent, sleeping bag, camping gear, flash light, ice chest with food for lunch, snacks, clothing appropriate for the weather, bug spray, etc. A decent size SUV with an air mattress can be used in lieu of a tent. We do not provide air mattresses, however, feel free to bring your own if desired.
What meals are provided? Breakfast and Dinner are provided and cooked onsite. A typical breakfast may include eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. Dinners may include baked chicken or porkchops, corn on the cob, squash, and baked or fried potatoes. A typical lunch will consist of sub sandwiches and fresh fruit.
Will I see a bigfoot? It is possible to actually have a sighting, but we make no guarantees. You will get to see actual evidence, whether it be tree structures or tracks, or both. Most likely you will hear them through vocalizations or tree knocks, particularly at night. During many of our outings, we've had them follow us and watch us from a relatively close distance, as close as fifty feet away.
Are firearms allowed? Firearms are not allowed. If you carry one in your vehicle, that is fine, however it will have to remain there, unless you are going out alone a long distance away from the group. Accidents can happen, especially when there is movement nearby. You are welcome to carry a knife, machete, or pepper spray.
Are bigfoots dangerous? We have no known reports of people being attacked by a bigfoot. Although they may try to intimidate with throwing pebbles, screams, or bluff charges.
Are pets allowed? No pets are allowed on the expedition, especially dogs. Some bigfoots do not like dogs. For the safety of your pooch, please leave them at home.
How many people are allowed to attend an expedition? We have a limit of 10 guests per expedition.
What if it rains? Expeditions take place rain or shine.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept all major credit cards.
Do you offer a discount for large groups? Yes, some expeditions may allow for discounts for large groups. An expedition that does not already have any reserved spots, may be reserved for private booking for one group. For more information, please call 479-216-8639.
